SBA VISUAL ARTS

At St. Brother André, the walls of our school are a vibrant showcase of student-created art, reflecting the creativity and talent of our students. The Visual Arts program provides a strong foundation in Grades 9 and 10, where students begin to explore essential techniques and concepts. As students move into the senior grades, they have the opportunity to dive deeper into specialized arts courses, honing their skills and preparing for post-secondary opportunities in the arts and beyond.

Our Visual Arts program encourages students to explore a diverse range of mediums, from traditional painting and sculpture to digital media and mixed media, providing a platform for self-expression and artistic growth. Students are empowered to create works that reflect both their personal perspectives and the dynamic,
ever-changing world around them. Through this process, they develop not only technical skills but also
critical thinking and an understanding of art’s role in culture and society.
