2 and 4 Credit Coop

The Two-Credit Package is primarily for those students in grade 11 who are college or university bound. It is also for any other grade 11 or 12 student who has a particular career interest which he/she would like to explore. The Two-Credit Package is linked to a particular course and is a practical application of skills and knowledge learned in that in-school course. Once in their placement, these students work every day from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Two-credit co-op takes place during periods three and four.

A typical timetable for two credit co-op:

Periods 3 & 4: Co-op

Students will travel to and from home to their workplace. They are responsible for transportation and getting to and from their placement.

• Four-credit co-op takes place during periods one,two, three, and four.

• Students selecting four-credit co-op will work at their co-op placements for six -eight hours each day. A typical timetable for four-credit co-op would be:
