Intro to Levitation Photography

This image is very interesting to me because of the girls on top of the water and the neutral tone in the photo. The woman appears to be levitating on top of the water, looking down into the lake; perhaps the theme of the picture has something to do with looking back on your old self. The artist did well, including the gray and sad tone along with the lady's shadow. I think I can also do a photo in which I levitate on water, representing Jesus Christ.

I like this photo because it is very simple but also very powerful. As the title explains, I think this lady could be having some sort of dream that just took her completely out of reality. I enjoy the woman's vibrant dress and how it contrasts with the brown and bland background. This adds more to the theme of being swept out of reality. I could make a levitating picture of myself on a bed as well.

This photo stood out to me because not only the woman, but also the surrounding papers are levitating. The story of this photo doesn't really make sense to me, but my best guess is that she is reading a book so powerful that it makes her feel like she is levitating. In my levitation pictures, I want to include objects that levitate around me, just like this picture. I think it adds to the mysterious factor of the levitation, along with the story/theme in the picture.
