The Kodak Brownie camera was invented by George Eastman in 1900. It was a simple and cheap box camera that used roll film and was very easy to use. People didn’t need to be experts to take pictures with it. It only cost $1, so many families and regular people could afford one. The Brownie made it possible for anyone to take photos, not just professionals. Because of this camera, more people started taking pictures of everyday life. It changed photography by making it something everyone could do, not just something for rich people or photographers.
