About Us

There are many reasons I became a librarian. I love asking questions, finding information, and learning about new ideas. I care deeply about teaching students these skills so they may become engaged and informed citizens. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is designing library spaces and programs that meet the needs of students and staff. I like to think of the library as “Room of Requirement” from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books: whatever you need, we can help you find it! Most importantly, I love being a school librarian, because I get to build relationships and learn from students and staff across grade levels and learning areas.
