Seaside 3/8/24
Metal Cluster 3/12/24
In a seaside tale where treasures dwell,A brown eraser met an acorn, oh so swell,With seven sand dollars, a story to tell, And a snail shell, in its spiral shell.
Among three pins, two tacks, and three little paperclips, the letter S flips and skips.
I wanted to do the ocean theme one after I saw all of the buckets with shells and I through in the yellow letters turned over to represent sand. my sea photo shows all the things you would see or fine at the ocean. This tells the story of when someone goes to the beach all day. the second photo shows metal scrap and has all silver and the metal cans in the room inspired me to do that. I learned that it is not as hard as you think when you make these things because it all comes together after you put everything down. I wouldn't change anything other then having more time to hide things but I think I did an good job of hiding things.
Purpose:
To photograph in the style of Walter Wick, inspired by his work in the “I Spy” children’s book series.
To photograph an arrangement of objects that express a similar theme.
To arrange objects into a complex composition that leads the eye and demonstrates an understanding of balance, lighting, and color.
To create a rhyme that connects to the hidden objects.
