Reflecting on my goals for the semester
I have achieved my main goals in this class. I learned to capture moments more effectively and quickly by applying leading lines, framing, perspective, and color techniques. These elements have improved my photography skills and made my photos more engaging. I also gained a better understanding of which settings to use and when to use them to enhance my ability to capture moments effectively.
Looking ahead
I want to get out in different places, take more photos, and use my new skills in the future. A new goal is to get any of my photos put up anywhere, whether in an art studio or just coffee shops. However, I feel like that would be very cool to have. A class that could help me reach these goals is maybe a workshop class, in which I could make frames for my photographs more appealing to put up in places. Outside of school, I would just remember to bring my camera to more places so if I see a good photo opportunity, I can take the photo.
What inspires me to take photos is trying to capture moments in this beautiful life and see them again later. Outside, taking pictures is calming, so it's a nice thing to do occasionally. And seeing the world from a different perspective through the camera is amazing. In this class, I want to improve my ability to capture the moment better and faster, learn what settings to use, and do so quickly. So I could capture the moment better.
