Earlier this school year all students at YES participated in the Hour of Code project during the week of December 3-7.
This after school class will continue with the online and "unplugged" Code.org resources.
My Robotic Friends
Each student has an account and can login during class or at home. To sign in start at: https://studio.code.org/courses. The code to join the class is: TLQNQH, find your name and then use a picture password. The first activity will be done in partners, see Mr. Abbott for your partner. Pair Programming video.

Once you have worked with a partner for an hour you may go to our Hour of Code choice page.

Try one of the Activity cards or click on a video below to learn to make a Maze Game or Drive Across the City.
Then you may try to create a Scratch Jr. program yourself
Ask Mr. Abbott if you want a to use a book of resources on Scratch Jr.

2. Scratch 3.0 - this can only be done on the Laptops

To get to Scratch use Firefox or Chrome to go to scratch.mit.edu

Note: If you want to save a project go to File>Download to your computer
- Give the project a name and save it to the Documents folder - let me know if you need help.
- If you want to create a Scratch account you need to do that with a parent at home
