- Earlier this school year all students at YES participated in the Hour of Code project during the week of December 3-7.
- This after school class will continue with the online and "unplugged" Code.org resources.
- My Robotic Friends
- Each student has an account and can login during class or at home. To sign in start at: https://studio.code.org/courses. The code to join the class is: TLQNQH, find your name and then use a picture password. The first activity will be done in partners, see Mr. Abbott for your partner. Pair Programming video.

- Once you have worked with a partner for an hour you may go to our Hour of Code choice page.

1. Scratch Jr. on the iPads (video)
- Try one of the Activity cards or click on a video below to learn to make a Maze Game or Drive Across the City.
- Then you may try to create a Scratch Jr. program yourself
- Ask Mr. Abbott if you want a to use a book of resources on Scratch Jr.
2. Scratch 3.0 - this can only be done on the Laptops
- To get to Scratch use Firefox or Chrome to go to scratch.mit.edu
- Ready to work on these Scratch Tutorials?
- Note: If you want to save a project go to File>Download to your computer
- Give the project a name and save it to the Documents folder - let me know if you need help.
- If you want to create a Scratch account you need to do that with a parent at home
