Week 1
- Introductions Activity - Names and favorite vacation moment.
- Earlier this school year all students at YES participated in the Hour of Code project during the week of December 3-7. We used a school-created set of links for grades 3 & 4.

- In order to understand the idea of "algorithms" as a basis for code we used a graph paper programming activity from code.org.
- Each participant has a login to a course on code.org, with the option of continuing at home between classes.
Week 2

- Then you may try to create a Scratch Jr. program yourself
- Ask Mrs. Wolinsky if you want a to use a book of resources on Scratch Jr.

- Continue with code.org, using your login name and password from the first session:
- iPad Coding Apps - The Foos, Lightbot, Box Island, LEGO Fix the Robot

Week 4
- What is Engineering?
- LEGO WeDo 2.0, What's in the Box?
- Scratch Jr. Continued
- Ask Mrs. Wolinsky for Scratch cards and books for more ideas.
