This piece is based on coral and the impact that overfishing has on it which causes disease and algae to overtake the coral reefs. Bright colorful glaze was used to show the " alive" coral and a muddy green was used to show the algae taking over.

This piece is in the style of a WW2 propaganda poster designed to convey the forgotten importance of the Women's Airforce Service Pilots who worked tirelessly and gave their lives to America by testing every single plane flown by American pilots and serving as teachers, work that has often gone unrecognized.
