What would you recommend other students think about and do/don’t do as they push and pull the clay to make this sculpture? Don't make parts too thin because it'll break. Do the required things first. Don't make too many small parts because it's hard to smooth.
What is particularly unique and interesting about your piece? What have you done to your sculpture that encourages the viewer to pick it up and look at all sides?
I like the big hole in the middle and the bumps on the side. I also like how smooth it is and how there are no flat areas.
Relate the making of your Push Pull sculpture to your Alabaster sculpture. There are differences and similarities. Describe at least two of each.
Push-pull is manipulating, manipulating is shaping, and not taking away. Alabaster sculpting is subratcing because it takes away, and you can choose how the clay looks, but not how the sculpture looks. The similarities are how they are both smooth and waxed.
