I took this photo while on a walk in the woods. I noticed all of the fallen leaves and the sun coming through the trees. I found this big leaf and took a picture of it from a low angle. I think this picture is a good example of complimentary colors because the leaves are orange, and the background is blue and green.

I took this picture while I was in a field. I noticed how bright the gate seemed against the blue sky and the green grass. I decided to take the photo because I thought that it was a great example of complimentary colors.

I took this photo while I was on a walk. It was really foggy out, and I noticed how the fog and pavement created a very good example of less intense/neutral colors.
I captured...
Contrasting colors: The photo of the red leaves surrounding the green tennis court.
Warm colors: The photo of the red and orange berries.
Monochromatic colors: The photos of the orange flowers and the pavement and fog.
Neutral/less intense colors: The photo of the dying fern against the fading, fallen leaves.
Review basic color theory and vocabulary;
Notice and find a different color schemes to photograph;
To practice looking at colors in your compositions.
