Assignment I Am Most Proud Of

The assignment I am most proud of is most definitely my Photos With Quotes project. Not only are both of these photos taken during one of my favorite moments in life, being at concerts, but its also my favorite band and favorite genre of music, Heavy Metal. Another amazing thing about this project is the quotes themselves. Both are the main lyric of the song being played in the photos bellow and they have such a large message within them. "Seduced by fame, A moth into a flame" is a lyric all about becoming a victim of addiction and becoming seduced by things that you believe control your life, when in reality the only thing that controls your life is yourself. The Quote "And Nothing Else Matters" comes from the bands most powerful song Nothing Else Matters. The quotes meaning is to put the listener into a story, a story about somebody caring for something far to much to the point where they believe that nothing else matters. The final thing I will touch on that I am most proud of is the colors shown in the photos, One shows a very powerful and bright flame like orange representing someone struggling to attempting to overcome self pain, which is the point of the song being played, and The other is a lot more calm and slow feeling in the mood, which is in fact the point of this one specific song. In conclusion, the assignment I am most proud of during my time as a photography student is the Photos with Quotes assignment due to the color usage, the importance the photos have on my life and the message each quote gives to the listener and or reader.
