I chose Edward Weston because of his style, I admire how he gets up close to fruits and veggies, with a simple backround that keeps your eyes on the main subject, in my own work I want I want to use some of his ideas, like close up images, good lighting, and focusing on shapes and textures to make the subjects stand out.

Edward Weston was born in Illinois in 1886 and died in 1958, and spent most of his life living in California. Weston became excited about photography as a kid after getting his first camera, and he later developed a style that helped shape modern American photography.

Weston was influenced by modern art, other photographers, and the people he worked with, including Margrethe and Tina Modotti, he got many of his ideas from simple natural objects like shells, peppers, and vegetables, and he enjoyed exploring their shapes and forms through carful lighting and composition.
