How do Op Artists change how we perceive a 2D surface? In what ways did you do this in your work? Please be specific.

Artist change 2d surfaces to make them look 3d, they do this by sometimes adding shading, having vanishing points in their work, knowing where they should add certain things, etc. I added many vanishing points in my work to have a certain point to connect all my lines back to, after that I duplicated things and made them different sizes. 

Purpose: 

• Identify Optical Illusions artwork and artists

• Understand science behind OpArt

• Manipulate space and shapes to create an illusion of depth, 3D Quality

• Use Patterns and repetition to achieve tricking the eye
