I definitely learned a lot of new drawing techniques and got better at drawing in proportion.  Before taking this art class I had no idea how to draw a realistic face but with a lot of practice, I got better and better. If you look at my composite face drawing and my self-portrait and compare them, you can see that I improved a lot. We didn't learn cross etching or pointillism, but that's ok. I learned how to use a variety of mediums and materials.

My goal is to learn new drawing techniques, I hope to get better at drawing things in proportion. I would like to learn how to do pointillism or cross etching. So far, I like this class, the still life is hard but enjoyable, and I've already had a lot of fun!

Every year my mom gets these small white pumpkins from the grocery store and me and my sister paint them with acrylic paints. This is my most recent painting other then art class. This is my pumpkin this year.
