Imagine standing on two different continents at once. Picture hiking across a glacier, soaking in a natural hot spring, and watching geysers explode into the sky! Iceland is one of the most fascinating places on Earth — and it’s closer to home than you might think.
I chose Iceland because it’s not only an adventure, but it also shares a lot with our own Maine coastal community. Like us, Iceland has a rich history in fishing, and its people have learned to thrive in a tough environment. They’ve been incredibly innovative — growing food near the Arctic Circle, raising their own special breed of horses, and using geothermal energy from deep within the Earth to power their lives.
On this trip, you’ll get to experience real lava forms that have mythical back stories, massive waterfalls taller than a 20-story building, glaciers you can hike on, and the famous Blue Lagoon. You’ll learn about Vikings, try new foods, listen to Icelandic music, and see how a small island community has become one of the most sustainable and creative countries in the world.
Traveling internationally builds independence, confidence, and a new perspective on the world. It’s not just about seeing amazing places — it’s about stepping outside your comfort zone, making lifelong memories, and realizing how big (and small!) the world really is.
Ready for an adventure you’ll never forget? Let’s go explore Iceland!
Tour dates are not set in stone, but we are looking at 8 days anywhere from June 18-June 30, 2026

Please complete this form by filling it in above.Â
I will send them a questionnaire via email, so I can get to know you better.Â
So you know what this is for, here's a small explanation.Â
They will be asked to provide information about your character traits, such as what you are like as a person, student, worker, etc... and what types of qualities/strengths/skills you may add to our travel group.Â
*Remember: They must be over 18 and not a family member.Â
*Make sure you have spelled their names and emails correctly!Â
Tips? Watch this video above, and think "travel opportunity" instead of a job! ;)Â Â
I hope this helps! I look forward to receiving your character references!Â
See the instructions for how to apply in this slideshow. I included prompts to help you when creating your application video! ;)Â
Your video can be as creative as you'd like, however, I need to be able to see your face/shoulders and remember this is like an interview sharing your why and your skills.Â
The Iceland: North and South itinerary for all 8 days - also for inspiration :)Â
The recording of the Iceland Information Night (it's an hour long, but feel free if you'd like to hear me talk more about the trip in the beginning!)
