Applications for the Fall 2026 have closed. If you still want to apply, email max.steinberg@yale.edu
All interested students are encouraged to apply! Math is for everyone and we strongly encourage everyone to apply :) We are trying to increase the diversity and equity in the math department as well so we would particularly love to see applications from traditionally under-represented groups in mathematics.
However, in the Fall semester, we recommend that first-year students concentrate on their coursework and consider applying in the future instead.
