Here are some of the things I have done for Yale Undergraduate Aerospace Association Project Liquid!
Three-dimensional CAD model of the rail lug showing the external housing, internal rail-engagement features, and threaded mounting interfaces. Assumes rigid-body behavior, negligible rail deformation, and quasi-static loading during launch rail engagement.
Annotated drawing of the rail lug detailing critical dimensions, material thicknesses, and clearances for compatibility with a standard T-rail launch system. Assumes nominal manufacturing tolerances, centered rail alignment, and no significant thermal or dynamic distortion during launch.
Preliminary CAD model of the rocket fin geometry used for early structural layout and integration studies. Assumes uniform material properties, symmetric fin placement, and preliminary aerodynamic sizing in the absence of a validated thrust curve.
CAD assembly of the rocket aft section with fins installed, illustrating fin attachment hardware and integration with the aft structure. Assumes rigid connections, axisymmetric vehicle geometry, and negligible fin–body interaction effects during initial launch and ascent.
