Design and development of a student-built liquid rocket engine, including injector integration, structural mounting hardware, and ground support systems. Work emphasized CAD-driven design, manufacturability, and system-level integration for safe hot-fire testing.
Mechanical design and structural analysis of rover drivetrain and motor assemblies, with emphasis on load-bearing interfaces, mounting geometry, and subsystem integration. Contributions supported the development of a robust, terrain-capable planetary rover platform.
Design and analysis of a small-scale turbojet engine, including internal flow-path layout, combustor geometry, and component integration. Work focused on propulsion system architecture, preliminary performance assumptions, and CAD-based iteration.
Experimental research and prototyping involving custom mechanical fixtures and test hardware. Work included hands-on fabrication, iterative design refinement, and validation of mechanical concepts through benchtop experimentation.
