Our new Shared Story is Boy, by Roald Dahl.
It is the autobiography of Mr Dahl's early life.
It will be interesting to see if you think his childhood
shaped who he wrote about and how he wrote about them.
You will be completing a workbook about the last few books we have read.

What is sound ? How is sound made. How does our hearing work ?
How can you create a beat using a bottle ?
Why do dogs have amazing hearing ?
These are just a couple of the questions we will be exploring
through Term 4.
In this clip Fran and Greg from the House of Sound describe sound as being a form of energy created by vibrations. Vibrations can be created in many different ways to produce multiple different sounds !

The 2020 Olympics were orginally supposed to be in July 2020, but due to COV-19 they were postponed until 2021 starting on July the 23rd and ending on Sunday 8th of August.
In the coming weeks we will be exploring the games and also learning a little more about the place and people of Japan. Japan has so much more to offer than just Sushi !
