MLK Day at the Arts Center (Jan)
With respect to MLK day, scouts spend time at the Summit Arts Center creating cards for hospital workers.
Scouting Sunday (Mar)
Scouts collected money at St. Teresa's church services, all proceeds going directly to the Troop and the Scouts' scout accounts.
STEM Month Celebration (Mar)
Scouts helped create a dynamic learning environment for grades 5-8, where students enhanced their skills and creativity through fun, hands-on activities and had the chance to win prizes.
Earth Day Clean-Up (Apr)
Scouts worked to restore pathways and clean up garbage at Martin's Brook Park in Summit.
College Club Book Sale (Apr).
Scouts worked at the book sale at the American Legion in New Providence.
Flag Laying for Veterans (May).
Scouts laid over 1500 flags at the graves of veterans in St. Teresa Cemetery, showing respect and gratitude to our fallen heroes.
Food Waste Composting in Summit (Aug).
Scouts explain how to compost in Summit to help the environment.
St. Teresa's Loaves and Fishes Food Drive (Oct).

Central Presbyterian Nativity Teardown (12/9/23)
Scouts help St. Teresa's Presbyterian take down decorations for their live nativity scene.
Saint Teresa Food Drive (10/22/23 and 10/30/23)
Scouts collect donations and nonperishable food items for the Saint Teresa food drive thru Stop and Shop and all of Summit school district.
Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner (9/27/23)
Scouts helped with the flag ceremony at Canoe Brook golf country club.
Multicultural Food Festival (10/24/23)
Scouts helped prepare food and preformed at the multicultural food festival.
Good Grief 5k Run and Walk (6/4/23)
Scouts ran in the 5k, helped give out ribbons for the kids dash and helped clean up the activity tents.
Memorial Day Flag Parade (5/29/23)
Scouts went to the veterans day parade and helped with the flag ceremony.

2020
The boy scout troop made 140 brown bag meals for the homeless people who needed something to eat in Newark. We worked with Bridges, a Summit non-profit organization.

The July 4th Day trip was when the troop raised the flags around Summit.
