About Student Email Accounts
All students K-12 have a school supplied email address. All students have discussed internet safety and responsible online manners. All students and parents signed an agreement at the beginning of the year that students would follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Use of the school Chromebooks off campus is still considered school usage during the Extended Closure. Students have also been made aware that school provided emails are not considered private and are monitored by the school system for appropriate usage.
The younger grades usually use the generic log in during class to save time and make it simpler for students to get on task. You should have received the generic log in and PW when you picked up a Chromebook. If not, please let the office know and they will get you the information. Chromebooks are still being checked out if you need one until supplies run out.
Emails and Passwords
The student's email address and password is also the Chromebook log in and password.
All students should try logging in to their Google accounts and/or their Chromebooks if they checked one out.
The format is as follows using example student Jane Smith with Student ID 123456789.
Email address: First Name + First Letter of Last Name + Last 3 Digits of Student ID + @yadkinstudent.com
*When logging in to a Chromebook, the Chromebook automatically fills in the "@yadkinstudent.com" part, so it does not need to be typed in.
However, when logging in to the email using Chrome on a different device it could be necessary to type it in.*
Password: First 6 Digits of Student ID + First 2 Letters of First Name (with first letter capitalized)
