What I do really well is to help you improve the processes of this beneficial circle. I will help you to control and increase the quality of your translation and stretch your localization budget.
Are you considering to start selling your products globally?
Do you already have a successful global presence and wonder if you can improve how you sell your products?
Do you already follow solid GILT processes, and want to step up even further?
Are you an LSP, about to hit the next structural growth ceiling intrinsic to your business model?
Whatever your position is now, I can work with you to improve it.
Curiously, it helps to create a framework, especially if you wan to think outside the square. So let's anchor your existing approach in the vast best practice processes of the GILT Framework: Globalization, Internationalization, Localization and Translation - to give us the opportunity to turn your existing strategy into gold.
This method may extend to your existing approach to content creation, style guides (including terminology), TMS integrations, Localization and efficient Translation and review workflows.
What I bring is my appreciation of the people, skills, and tools that form the rich tapestry of the language industry. It allows me to weave in my threads, collected over more than 18 years of involvement as a localization consultant, corporate workflow designer, university teacher, translator, and essential contributions to the development of two cloud-based CAT tools, all from my professional remote office, located in Earthsong, New Zealand's first Co-housing Community.
Design: I have been designing and implementing solutions for large scale translation and localization users since 2001, 16 years of that time for Lingo24.
Leadership: My thought leadership and expertise are the base for large content owners and LSPs to create robust best practice localization and translation processes and localization-ready content life cycles, and then to grow to much more than that.
Facilitation: The sustainable facilitation of the synergies between translation buyers, LSPs, and suppliers across this fragmented industry hinges on cooperation and strategies for all areas of the content life cycle.
CAT tools: In the past, I have helped developing essential functions of two CAT tools (XTM, Lingo24’s Coach), and I have taught several other CAT tools to students at the University of Auckland.
