Introduction

This is my Digital Portfolio for GEP 1 2017-2018,

My name is Joan Sebastià Domènech i Gonzàlez, I've got an Engineering degree on Electronic Equipment for Telecommunications. As a tenured teacher I started in 1996 at Institut de l'Arboç and in 2002 I moved to Amposta to work at Institut Ramon Berenguer IV on Technologies and ICT. In my Computer Science for 4th ESO classes we speak in English. Nowadays I live with my family in Amposta.

My students are from 1st of ESO (12 years old), 4th of ESO (15 years old) to 2nd Course of Batxillerat (17 years old).

Love to ride on my bicycle for long distances, alone or in company. It soothes me a lot. I'm also fond of my geeks and 2.0 arsenal. I like trekking and running as well. Fan of Ken Robinson, Garr Reynolds, Brené Brown and Emotional Education for Creativity.

I thank my family for giving all the love and dedication they possibly can, and, above all, for bringing me to the live and all the family memories, said or not.

I read on web design and presentations, Tolkien novels, SCIFI novels, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clark, Ray Bradbury. Curing about Bicycling, Systemic Pedagogy, iPad, Nikola Tesla, the school where I work... is part of my hobbies. I also love writing and reading about learning innovation, listening to soothing music like Liquid Mind and having a healthy chat with good friends.

Love my job as a teacher and happy to bring the knowledge of my students out and make them mind of their capabilities and competencies. In my classes I expect to have a good time and every day is different for the good. I believe in validation and support of and for the families, colleagues and students. Having projects to work on and learning new ways to beat challenges are my preferences.

I got my C1 level in English at EOI in Amposta in 2016.
