Quines artistes més modernes! Documentació per realitzar el projecte sobre les dones artistes dels segles XV, XVI i XVII a través de la reinterpretació de les seves obres, en format fotogràfic, a la manera de l'artista visual Cindy Sherman. Creadores Des de fa gairebé 50 anys les historiadores feministes de l’art han anat demostrant que la participació de les dones en la creació artística tenia un abast molt més ampli que el que la història oficial de l’art havia explicat. Avui en dia coneixem el nom de moltes dones artistes d’arreu del món que, a partir del Renaixement, es van professionalitzar en un àmbit en el que mica en mica van anar trobant possibilitats de formar-se; i també som conscients que les dones ja havien estat artísticament actives en èpoques anteriors, com a pintores o escultores, però també fent ceràmica, brodant, teixint o creant objectes decoratius de tota mena. També cal tenir present que les dones han tingut un paper clau en el món de l’art com a mecenes, col·leccionistes, promotores, galeristes, historiadores, crítiques, gestores, museòlogues, restauradores,…, és a dir, en tot l’entramat institucional que sosté el món de la creació artística. Ser-ne conscient és bàsicament una qüestió de perspectiva, de en què ens fixem quan estudiem la història de l’art i del patrimoni i de quines preguntes ens fem.
