Optional Time Adverbial + SUBJECT + VERB(1) + DO/IO(2) + ADVERBIALS(3)
Simple verbs: Before the verb: I always listen to jazz music.
Compound verbs. After the first auxiliary: I have never been to Japan.
After verb TO BE: She is usually at the office in the mornings.
a) If the complements are both nouns.
1st Indirect and 2nd Direct: I gave Mary a book for her birthday.
b) If the complements are both pronouns.
1st Direct + TO + 2nd Indirect: I gave it to her for her birthday.
c) If the complements are 1 noun and 1 pronoun, then
1st pronoun and then 2nd noun:
a) Replace D.O.: I gave it to Mary --> (se'l vaig regalar a la Mary).
b) Replace I.O.: I gave her a book --> (li vaig regalar un llibre).

2- Place (in case there is a movement verb, Place Adverbial is placed after the verb).
3-Time (An adverb of time, as the name suggests, can be used in a sentence to depict when an action mentioned in the sentence is taking place. It can be identified by asking the question 'when'. They work best when placed at the end of a sentence, but you can change the position of the adverb to emphasise the adverb. End position: I'm flying to Edinburgh tomorrow. Front position: Today, I'm going to clean the house.).

James played brilliantly in the match on Saturday. (preferred to James played brilliantly on Saturday in the match.)
NOTE: You can move any adverbial complement at the beginning of a sentence using a COMMA.
WARNING: We don’t put adverbs between the verb and the object

She plays the piano really well. I’ve heard her. (Not: She plays really well the piano.)
I don’t watch the TV very often.
