On 23rd of April we celebrated Saint George's day, doing some special activities like a concert from Sant Esteve music school, some medieval games acrafts... We also created a museum with our productions.
We created our own eggs to celebrate easter time! We also went to the forest to do Easter egg hunt.
We had a wonderful day.
In first and second grade we use the games and the manipulative activities to learn new vocabulary and useful grammar.
They enjoy a lot!
As we know Christmas is loved by everyone, it’s a special time and we have decided to enjoy with games, songs and learning together.
We learned some vocabulary about Christmas using some traditional games like memory, domino , bingo and some new games like kaboom, tarsia and spy.
We also are such a good singers and dancers, you will see it in our amazing videoclips.
This first term had been very special for us, we hope you enjoy your Christmas holidays, and see you in 2021!

On Tuesday 10th, we celebrated the science day , but this time we did it different than last year.
The 6th grade students had prepared experiments to show to the other classes in video. Apart from this each class tried to do different science corners to learn how scientists work. In groups they thought hypothesis and after that they observed by themselves the effects of the experiments.
They did very interesting experiments and they had a lot of fun! Now you can watch some of this experiments. Enjoy it!
This is a different year, and we have to adapt our celebrations to the situation, but this doesn't stop us from having a lot of fun! What better way to learn than to do it by playing?
During the week we learned different vocabulary about Halloween and we played different games to practice! We had too much fun! Memory game, dobble, domino, puzzles, bingo… And we have to say that these guys are great players!

The past school year 2018-19 we were selected to participate in the Generació Plurilingüe (GEP) program promoted by the Government. Our main goal is to foster students' communicative competence through the learning of a non linguistic subject area in English. Click here to learn more.
Last month 6th grade students held a videoconference with our partners from Finland. We got to introduce ourselves and ask each other questions. We learned lots of things about their culture and daily lives, for instance that this year they haven't had any snow, which is crazy! It was an amazing experience!
This year we have an amazing language assistant, Katrina, working with us! She is from Scotland and she will be helping us all the way until May! We are so lucky to have you, Katrina!

On March 15th, two days before Saint Patrick's Day, our school celebrated the English Day, a day filled with activities in English! We created our Leprachaun names, saw a theatre play in English and engaged in games using the language. We had many families and volunteers come and help us. We had so much fun!
On Monday 11th November we celebrated the Science Day at school. In the morning students from Kindergarten 3 to primary 6 were doining scientific corners. Later, primary 6 students made an oral presentation of their own scientific experiments to the whole community. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a very funny theatre from Jove espectacle company. It was a great day and everybody had fun!
