Institut Escola Agustí Barberà is a former primary school that last academic year has become a secondary school too.
The school is located in Amposta, a town in a rural area in the South of Catalonia. The primary school has been active since 1977, and we started to welcome secondary students last year. We are in the middle of a process of change full of new challenges and we have decided to include GEP and CLIL lessons in this new project.
Foreign languages have always played an important role in the school and with the introduction of this program we expect to enhance their use as vehicular languages in usual school tasks.
