GROUP 5: CO2 levels

FOSSIL FUEL

Fossil Fuel comes from organic matter that millions of years ago, was trapped under different layers of the subsoil and underwent a process of transformation: FOSSILIZATION.

Remember that they can be finished.

THEY ARE EXHAUSTIBLE.

The burning of fossil fuels involves the emission of certain GASES and particles that have harmful effects on the environment and health.

WE MUST LOOK FOR SOLUTIONS

CO2 EMISSIONS

One of the most problematic gases is CARBON DIOXIDE.

This gas is responsible for the GREENHOUSE effect and GLOBAL WARMING of the planet. Therefore, if we want to reduce CO2 emissions, we need to reduce the use of fossil fuels.

So it's up to us, for example:

  • Use sustainable transport.

  • Obtain electricity from alternative sources.

  • Not using so much oil to produce plastics, synthetic fibers, paints, insecticides ...

  • Change our habits (less packaging, plastic bags ...)

LET´S WORK!

It is quite common to have a car. So we all have a responsibility about emissions.

Reducing pollution from our cars is essential to improve the planet situation. You've probably heard of electric cars and hybrids. Are they really so good? Let's find out!
