About the project Air Quality

INTRODUCTION

Due to the lockdown situation, all schools have taken a number of measures such as ventilation and the use of hydro-alcoholic solutions. As a consequence of that, we question the air quality of the Tarragona high school.

Besides, we just have finished a project in collaboration with Tarragona University (Universitat Rovira i Virgili) about School Air Quality. Our students analyzed the air quality in our classes and in other parts of the school with the help of gas collectors that will be placed all around. The results of this first project were analyzed by technicians from the university and afterwards we worked on the results in order to improve school air quality.

The second part of our project will take place in Lycée Sacré Coeur, Touring (France). We will analyze similar parameters, we will share our results and we will compare both results. The goal of this project is to find solutions to improve air quality in the school and to raise the awareness about CO₂ emissions.
