Meet the Team

The director of Xrayetc is Dr Susan Kearney a Cardiothoracic Radiologist at Lancashire Teaching Hospital Trust. She has a proven track record in the delivery of radiology education to radiology trainees, reporting radiographers and other health professionals. Previously she was director for the NW School of Radiology Academy responsible for the development and management of the educational programmes. More recently she was clinical director for the North West Imaging Academy responsible for delivering radiology education and CPD courses for reporting radiographers and mentorship of trainee reporting radiographers in CXR interpretation. She is a senior examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists 2b FRCR examination. Sue works with a team of Consultant Radiologists and each course will have its own specialist lead. 

Samantha Truesdale administers the courses for Xrayetc. She has over 30 years of experience working within Radiology; much of that time spent as a medical secretary in the imaging department at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust.  More recently Sam has been involved in the administration and organisation of radiology education working for various organisations across the North West region.
