The Xavier’s Zoology Association is an organisation which was established in June 2015, under the Department of Zoology, at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Comprising a group of enthusiastic students and aspiring zoologists, the association organises various events and activities pertaining to the field of zoology, for academicians and laymen alike. These activities include talks, quizzes, field visits and treks. Encouraging the active involvement of all students from the first to the final year, the association brings them together to plan and execute ideas for the purpose of science communication.
The XZA Chronicle is the official blog of the Xavier’s Zoology Association which is associated with the Department of Zoology at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. The blog aims at communicating various facets in the realm of zoology through articles based on research, photo essays from field visits, book and documentary reviews. We are open to submissions from contributors who believe their stories and views on the subject can provide new insights to our readers.
