Vision and that too coloured vision is an important aspect of our perception of the world around us. Understanding this perception involves understanding of physics of light and many different branches of biology such as anatomy, physiology and behaviour. Not just we humans, there are many animals that use vision and colours to perceive the world around them = to decide what to eat, to choose a mate, to intimidate an intruder and for so many other aspects of their lives. How animals produce colours, how they perceive colours and how they use them are the topics that are discussed in the 9th issue of Imprint - CHROMA.
