Ms. Nandini Naik

Education

Nandini Naik is a graduate in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

She has a Master's in International Relations and M.Phil in International Trade and Development from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

She has also been a recipient of the research fellowship under the NET scheme of UGC and has a diploma in French from Alliance Francaise.

  • Co-authored ‘Holding Corporations Liable Under the Rome Statute: Is It Really Necessary?’ which was published in Chorzowskie Study in Politics. A European journal on Security and Human Rights.

  • Authored an article on “The Basic Structure of the Constitution” which was published in 101 Supreme Court Landmark Judgments- The Chamber of Tax Consultants

  • Authored ‘The Hard Truth of Software Piracy’ published by the Bombay Master Printer’s Association.

  • Authored ‘The Global Lawyer” an article published in English and Spanish in the Global Law Collection, a publication by the University of Navarra

  • Presented a paper titled ‘Legal Education in India – A Clinical Approach’ at DISHA 2006. A seminar on Innovation in Studies in Higher Academics organized by St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

  • Presented a paper at Cardiff law School , United Kingdom titled “Form and Substance” – A Comparative Analysis of development of law relating to Tax Avoidance and Tax Evasion in India and the U.K.

  • Presented a paper titled ‘Hindu Muslim Riots in Bombay’ as a part of Individual Conflict Analysis at the Rotary Peace and Conflict Resolution center, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.

  • Submitted an independent research paper on Amniocentesis and Prenatal Diagnosis of Genetic Disorders.
