Batch of 2012A scientist who specializes in coronaviruses and bats helped isolate the SARS-CoV-2 virus [the agent responsible for COVID-19], in just a few weeks at McMaster University’s Institute for Infectious Disease Research. Bachelors student of 2012 batch, did his M.Sc from the National Institute of Virology, Pune and PhD on bat viruses at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
