Duration: July 2019 to April 2020 (3 days/week – 3 hours/day)

Eligibility: Degree in Hindi as main subject and English as compulsory subject/PG in Hindi or English or Sanskrit, and a compulsory degree in English or Hindi.

About the Course

Translation is a vital skill to transfer the knowledge from one language to another. In recent years due to globalization, the whole world has come together. Translation is very important process to know and understand each others’ culture, history, and philosophy. Translation is a science as well as an art. As a translator, one can get an opportunity in Central Government Departments such as Home Ministry, Ministry of External Affairs, Indian Armed Forces, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Indian Railways and Nationalized Banks. Now-a-days translation work is in big demand in the field of Commerce, Marketing, Management, Law, Mass Media and Communication, Literature, Art (performing and visual) including Music.

Courses based on Official Language Policy, Language Structure and Translation, Technical Terminology, and Correspondence in Hindi.
