The M.Sc. Eligibility: B.Sc. in Biological sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/Life Science/ Microbiology/ Zoology) with Chemistry upto SYBSc level or BSc in Chemistry with Biology courses upto SYBSc level.
The admissions for M.Sc. Biotechnology (2 years) programme in the Department of Biotechnology, St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Mumbai will be through an Entrance Examination. The admission will be based on the merit list derived using the following weightage:
Score obtained in the entrance examination -70% weightage.
Qualifying B.Sc. examination percentage (SEMESTER 5 and 6/ SEMESTER 5) - 30%weightage
Please note that provisional admission will be given based on Sem V marks subject to the student passing Sem VI and handing in proof when released by the University.
