Service Hour Guidelines

Giving of our time in the service of others is one of the foundations of who we are as Xavier Hawks.  We are huge advocates for student service and have set specific service hour guidelines for our students...not because we want to jam up their time, but because we believe in the life-affecting, focus-shifting, science-supported impact of volunteer service...all in the spirit of faith, hope, and love.

• Students are invited to invest 80 hours of service (10 hours/semester), prior to graduation.

• 20 hours of service are to be completed per academic year and must be submitted by May 20.

• A minimum of 20 of these 80 hours (five hours/year) are to be invested in parish service.  

• It is each student's responsibility to schedule, record, and submit service hours, via MobileServe.

• Current service hour opportunities are shared with students every Tuesday in their "SPIRIT Stuff" email.
