Welcome to 7th Grade literature (writing) elective, CARPE DIEM! I 'm looking forward to "seizing this school year" with you all! (: Throughout the course of the semester, we will be exploring a variety of literary genres such as poetry, fiction, nonfiction (research projects), drama, fantasy, mystery, etc. The students will learn about elements of story-writing & participate in persuasive speaking & writing. The students will also be working on vocabulary development each week.
