About Mrs. Jones:
Hi there,
I have been a Social Studies teacher at Xavier since 2002. In my classes, students have the opportunity to learn about current events and how they impact our community. It is so important for students to be informed and have the opportunity to grow in their civic responsibility, while growing in their faith. I teach AP US History, Government, US History 11 and am a Dual-Enrollment CAPP Political Science teacher with UW-Oshkosh. When I'm not at Xavier, you can find me with my family, friends, and Mookie (dog) around our fire pit. I have a love of all things Hamilton and Ted Lasso. I am passionate about criminal justice reform and work with local leaders to provide educational opportunities particularly for seniors in DE/CAPP Political Science.

On this website you will find materials and resources needed for your classes. If there is something you cannot find or have questions about, just send me an email. Students in my classes will also be using a Google Classroom, on that platform reminders and announcements will be posted, as well as other links for resources, and assignments. I will be using Google Classroom exclusively. Parents, you will be invited to join the class to receive notifications if you have entered your guardian email.
