Instructional Coaching

You might be wondering what an instructional coach does. An instructional coach works with teachers and students to improve teaching and learning. In my role as an instructional, I will be working in all of the classrooms, helping teachers in many different ways. This includes planning lessons, modeling lessons, co-teaching lessons, offering feedback, analyzing data, helping with differentiation, helpinng teachers meet their professional goals, and presenting professional development to teachers. While an instructional often works with teachers, I will also be spending some time with students in whole group, small group, and individual instruction.
