Hello!
Welcome to our classroom website! I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade at Xavier Elementary!
I graduated from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in 2011, where I received my teaching degree. I'm licensed to teach elementary school as well as middle school Social Science and Communication Arts/Literature, but math is my favorite subject to teach! After graduating college, I returned to the Fox Cities and began teaching in the Neenah Joint School District, where I taught fourth and fifth grade for 5 years. I attended Catholic Schools my whole life and decided I wanted to return to a faith-filled community, so I began teaching at Lourdes Academy in Oshkosh in 2016. I spent three years teaching 5th grade at Lourdes. In 2019, I was hired as a fourth grade teacher at Xavier Elementary and have been here ever since. I LOVE working for Xavier and am looking forward to another great year! I have loved every minute of being a teacher, and time sure has flown! It's hard to believe this will be my 13th year teaching!
I am no stranger to Xavier. My dad was a basketball coach at Xavier for awhile and now works in the development office. You will probably see me at a lot of Xavier basketball games! I love the Xavier community and am excited to be continuing in my role as a 4th grade teacher.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing board games, attending sporting events, exploring new places and things, and spending time with my 5 1/2 year-old niece, Eliza, who lives in Illinois!
I am looking forward to meeting all of you and getting to know you all throughout the year. I love teaching and learning and can't wait for the year to start! It is my goal that we all have a successful, memorable year!
