Welcome to Xavier!
Hello!
Welcome to Xavier! I am so excited to be an instructional coach at both of the Xavier Elementary Schools!
I graduated from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in 2011, where I received my teaching degree. I'm licensed to teach elementary school as well as middle school Social Science and Communication Arts/Literature, but math is my favorite subject to teach! After graduating college, I returned to the Fox Cities and began teaching in the Neenah Joint School District, where I taught fourth and fifth grade for 5 years. I attended Catholic Schools my whole life and decided I wanted to return to a faith-filled community, so I began teaching at Lourdes Academy in Oshkosh in 2016. I spent three years teaching 5th grade at Lourdes. In 2019, I was hired as a fourth grade teacher at Xavier Elementary and have been here ever since. During the 2025-2026 school year, I was given an amazing opportunity to teach STEM at both of the elementary schools. This was a great opportunity, and I loved every minute of it. However, after much prayer and discernment, I accepted the opportunity to be an instructional coach at both elementary schools. I am looking forward to starting my 16th year teaching in this new role. This position is in alignment with my professional goals, as I am returning to school to get my Masters in Educational Leadership/Adminsistration with an emphasis in Catholic School Leadership through Creighton University. If all goes as planned, I'll have my Master's degree and principal license in the spring of 2028.
I am no stranger to Xavier. My dad was a basketball coach at Xavier for many years and recently retired as Xavier's VP for Advancement. You will probably see me at a lot of Xavier basketball games! I love the Xavier community and am excited for my next adventure as instructional coach at both campuses.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing board games, attending sporting events, exploring new places and things, and spending time with my 7 1/2 year-old niece, Eliza, who lives in Illinois!
I am looking forward to meeting all of you and getting to know you all throughout the year. I love teaching and learning and can't wait for the year to start! Please free to reach out to me if you need anything!
