The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across the United States and its territories. The 988 Lifeline is comprised of a national network of over 200 local crisis centers, combining local care and resources with national standards and best practices.

HOPE Squad is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program designed to empower students to recognize warning signs, provide support, and connect peers to trusted adults and resources. Trained student members learn how to identify when someone may be struggling, have conversations with compassion, and encourage help-seeking behaviors. HOPE Squad helps schools build stronger communities where students feel seen, heard, and supported.
