Going

• Begin by praying. Reflect on questions like these:

  • What gifts might the Lord be asking me to use?

  • What gifts can I begin to use and strengthen right now where I currently am?

  • What body of Believers am I connected with that can pray for me and encourage me and counsel me as I consider how and when and where to go?

  • Is there a pastor who knows me who can shepherd me in this process?

  • Are there missionaries you know whom you could interview?

Sending

• Begin by praying. Reflect on questions like these:

  • How can I make use of my strengths to send well?

  • What community of people can I reach out to so that we can send together?

  • How will I strategically discern who to help send?

  • What am I willing to do in support of those I help send?

  • Whom would the Lord have me help send and how?

Praying

  • How can I discern what to pray for?

  • How often and with whom can I pray?

  • What resources can I identify that will inform and sustain my prayer efforts?

Welcoming

• Find scripture resources by language or country on scriptureearth.org. 

• Begin by praying. Reflect on questions like these:

  • How will I find those God is sending into my community that He would have me help welcome?

  • How will I learn what I need to know in order to welcome well?

  • Who can I gather around me so I am not welcoming alone, but with others in the Body of Christ?

Mobilizing

  • Visit wycliffe.org/churches to explore resources for churches and discover how you may help in mobilizing your church to engage in Bible translation. 

  • Begin by praying. Reflect on questions like these:

    • Who do I know I think might have gifts that could be used to bring the name of Christ to the unreached?

    • Who can I pray with in order that together we might be used to mobilize others into God's redemptive plan for all nations?

    • What resources are there that can help me understand how to mobilize well?

    • How can I help others have a vision for mobilizing?
