WELCOME
On behalf of the faculty and staff at Whitewater Middle School, welcome to a new school year! We are excited to welcome both new and returning Whippets and look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, connection, and success.
Middle school is an important time for students to discover their interests, build meaningful relationships, develop independence, and grow as learners and individuals. Whitewater Middle School offers a wide range of academic, extracurricular, athletic, and leadership opportunities designed to help every student find success and become an active, positive member of our school community. We encourage students to embrace new experiences, challenge themselves, and take pride in being a Whippet.
Our staff is committed to partnering with students, families, and the greater Whitewater community to provide a safe, supportive, respectful, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive. We believe that strong relationships and open communication between school and home are essential to student success.
This Student/Family Handbook is provided as a resource for students and families of Whitewater Middle School. It outlines important school-specific expectations, procedures, and information that help support the daily operation of our school and promote a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
The information in this handbook reflects the expectations of the Board of Education, administration, faculty, and community. Because policies and procedures are reviewed and updated regularly, this handbook may not address every policy, situation, or circumstance. Families should also refer to the Whitewater Unified School District Handbook for district-wide policies and procedures that apply to all students and families across the district. If you have questions about information contained in either handbook or about a situation not addressed, please contact the school.
We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to working together to make it a successful and memorable one for every Whippet. Welcome to Whitewater Middle School!
