Software

Software for engineering design is, at large, priced for large businesses. Learning how to use this industry-standard software is a key piece to our goal of growing our members and preparing them for their engineering careers. By providing our team with software, you are helping grow the next generation of engineers.

Material

Often, materials that are considered scrap in a commercial manufacturing setting can still be suitable for our purposes. Material donations are materials that we don’t have to purchase, leaving more money in the budget for other components that we cannot manufacture in-house.

How do you benefit?

Tax Deductible

Support for WWU Racing is handled through the Western Washington University Foundation, which has 501c3 nonprofit status. All contributions to the team are therefore tax deductible for the company that is donating.

Advertising

Sponsors can receive logo placement on the car and team apparel as well as shoutouts in our media and on our website. Throughout the year, we attend and host events, displaying our car both on and off campus. Our competition videos showcasing the car receive over 10 thousand views annually. The level of sponsorship benefits received by a contributor is directly correlated to the monetary value of the donation made.
