Who wrote it? Are they qualified to write on this topic? Has it been edited or peer-reviewed? If a website, does the URL tell you anything? .edu, .gov, etc.

Is it Accurate?

Is the information supported by evidence? Where does the information come from - are there references?

What is its Purpose?

Is this information advertising? Scholarly work? Opinion? Is there bias? Does its purpose fit your research needs?
