The Winter Sports Program is a regular part of the school curriculum and school regulations concerning conduct and attendance apply.
Registration forms and applicable waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian and returned with the $35 registration fee by December 10, or a late fee of $10 applies.
The program runs most Thursdays, January - March, at Sugarbush Lincoln Peak or Mad River Glen.
Students are responsible for their own equipment; all students participating in skiing or snowboarding are required to wear a helmet.
Students will be issued an RFID SugarXpress card for lift access on winter sports days at Sugarbush. The student is responsible for this card! There will be a $5 fee for forgotten or lost cards.
Students must have health insurance in order to participate in the ski program. If you are in need of insurance for your child, you may purchase a policy through the school.
Skis and snowboards are NOT permitted on the school bus. They must be transported to the school and home by private vehicle.
Ski equipment can be dropped off in bins outside of school on Thursday morning.
Ski equipment can be picked up on Friday morning between 7am and 2:45pm.
The school bus transports students to arrive at the mountain by 12:00 and leaves the mountain at 2PM to return to school for regular bus pick up.
Students who have a change in pick-up plans, must let the front office know by Thursday morning at 9:00. We need advance notice please!
If the program needs to be canceled for the day for any reason, we make that decision by 10AM. If school is canceled for the day, the program is also canceled.
If you need financial assistance for the program, please contact Justina Boyden.
