The sustainable development goals are the key reason for this project. They are the 17 goals that the UN considers the biggest problems that need to be solved as soon as possible. Out of these 17 we have chosen the 3 we believe are important to solve or bring awareness to now.
Life on Land
SDG 15
Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss. Awareness of this SDG helps all animals that live with us, which affects each and every person in the world.
Life Below Water
SDG 14
The SDG Life Below Water is about conserving and sustainably using the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development. The application of this SDG is showing the kids how they can save animals from plastic, such as turtles or fish.
Responsible Consumption and Production
SDG 12
Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. This SDG ties into the recycling and reusing part of our project, where we will have kids learn about the need behind it.
